＜原著＞手術用手袋に滑沢剤として使用された粉末の各種洗浄法における洗浄効果に関する走査型電子顕微鏡による観察

抄　録：手術用手袋の滑沢剤としての粉末が原因で，手術後の炎症の遷延化や肉芽形成などの重篤な合併症を起こすことが報告されている。今回，市販されている8種類の手術用手袋に対して，無処置のもの，流水および溜水中で洗浄したもの，超音波洗浄器で洗浄したものについて，粉末の付着状態を走査型電子顕微鏡で観察した。その結果，手術用手袋の滑沢剤の粒子はいかなる洗浄法によっても残留する可能性があることが示唆され，手術時には powder freeの手袋が用いられるべきであると考えられた。

Scanning Electron Microscopic Observations on the Effect of Cleaning of Granules Attached to Surgical Gloves by the Washing Methods

Eight different kind of surgical gloves were washed with stored distilled water, running distilled water and distilled water in ultrasonic washing machine. Thereafter, 5×5 m�u surface areas of the 2nd finger of each glove were removed and prepared for SEM in the same way as biological tissues. SEM observation was performed on each specimen, and the number of granules was counted under the same magnification on SEM photographs. Powder granules attached to the surgical gloves were Still observed after washing with running or stored distilled water or in the bath of an ultrasonic washing machine. Powder-free gloves are recommended for surgery based on these results.
