Sarcoptes Scabiei and Its Relationship with Humans

Abstract: This article describes the physical description, lifecycle and risk factors related to scabies transmission, with particular emphasis for health care workers (HCW). Detailed information on scabietic conditions is provided; along with descriptions of the disease transfer processes and nosocomial outbreaks. The paper is intended to provide a more thorough understanding of scabies infestation and its relationship with contemporary health care facilities.
