＜総説＞中枢性性早熟症に対するLH-RH analog療法

抄　録：中枢性性早熟症の治療薬として，プロゲステロン誘導体にかわるものとして，最近LH-RH analogが注目されている。現在，LH-RH analog製剤としては点鼻用と連日皮下注用が使用可能で，月1回皮下注用のDepot型super long-acting LH-RH analogの治験が進行中である。特に後者は性腺抑制作用が強力で，最も期待される治療薬であるが，長期使用による身長予後の改善と副作用の有無に関しては，不明の点も多く残されており，今後の検討が必要である。

Treatment of Central Precocious Puberty with LH-RH Analog

Remarkable advance has recently been achieved in the treatment of precocious puberty. The chronic administration of long-acting LH-RH agonistic analog suppresses pituitary gonadotropin secretion. This principle has been used suecessfully for the treatment of patients with central precocious puberty. Various kinds of LH-RH analog have been administered as a daily sc injection, a thrice daily intranasal application or a single monthly in depot injection. In this paper, the progress in the treatment with LH-RH analogs, especially the effect on final adult height is brieHy reviewed.
