親子関係形成に向けての面会に関するNICU 看護師の思い

＜要　旨＞
　本研究に先立ち，NICU看護師の日常の中で親子関係形成に向けての思いについて分析した結果，その思いの表出場面としては，面会に関することが大多数を占めていることがわかった1）。今回は，この面会に関する思いに焦点を当て，その思いの意味について考察した。研究協力者は，一病院のNICU 看護師（スタッフナース）11名であり，NICUに入院している低出生体重児とその親の一事例について，「この事例における子どもと親をどのように観て，どのように感じ，どのように考えているかを自由に話してください」という質問のみを提示した非構成的面接法でデータを収集した。その結果，看護師は個別的な看護実践をしていくために「親について知りたい」と，自身の看護実践していくことに対する「迷いや不安」という思いが，その主要なものであることがわかった。これらの思いの意味を実践者である看護師が意識化することにより，看護実践の向上につながると考える。

Thoughts of NICU Nurse about Parents’ Visits and its Effects on Child-parent Bonding

　This study examined the attitudes of NICU nurses towards the formation of parent-child relationships during visiting hours. The subjects were 11 NICU staff nurses from one hospital. Data was collected though unstructured interviews using three questions : 1) How did you feel about the parents/baby visiting time, 2)How did you watch it, and 3) What did you think about it though the observation? The results suggested that nurses wanted to know about the parents in order to carry out their duties. In addition, it was revealed that nurses experience hesitation and uneasiness in their practice. It is important that nurses be the aware of their individual nursing practice, which will in turn lead to improvement of their nursing care.
