英語の夢と記憶
―キャロル・バーネットとロバート・ワレンの場合

　フロイトは夢分析において性的な意義を重視した。性的な意識が夢の検閲を経て、夢の物語になることを示した。しかしユングは性的な意義では夢を説明するためには不十分であると考えた。ユングは満たされない願望が人間性として、意識を構成する材料になると説明した。とくに意識の中心として神的な意識を重視して、それを映像化しようと試みた。
　この項では夢の材料を説明するためにオリジナルな方法を適用した。我々は記憶分析を重視し、夢の素材となる過去の出来事がどのように現在の意識として再生されるかをキャロル・バーネットの自伝とロバート・ワレンの“マディソン郡の橋"の中から適確な実例を紹介する。

S.Freud showed a significance of sexuality in his original dream analysis. Sexual consciousness had been described in the dream story through dream censorship. Nevertheless C. Yung thought the sexuality inadequate for the explanation of significance of dream. He introduced unsatisfied desires in human nature which are materials to construct consciousness, especially in the center of consciousness.
In this report we applied the original method to explain the dream materials. We introduced memory analysis how the facts of past which are dream materials reconstruct the present consciousness, showing several cases in "A memoir one more time" by Carol Burnet and "The bridge of Madison" by Robert Wallen.
