石川啄木試論
ー郷里の意義と影響ー

石川啄木の文学活動は17歳に始って，27歳で終る。「郷里」の自然と人々は啄木の意識をゆるがす最も大きなエネルギーであり，啄木自身が「内部生命の全てである」と書いている。石川啄木の詩は，100年前の明治時代の青年の意識ー感情と思索を現代に伝えている。「郷里」は甘美な自然と人々であるとともに，父を住職の寺から追い出した人々のいる悲しみの記憶でもある。

An essay on Ishikawa-Takuboku I
- The significance and influence of one's native land -

A literary activity of Ishikawa-Takuboku had begun at his seventeen and finished at his twentty seven. Japanese word "Furusato" that contains the meaning of one's native land and people is the most effective energy to move his consciousness, and that was described "all of my internal life" by himself. ln a poet of lshikawa-Takuboku we can find a consciousness -a sense and thinking- of young people in Meiji-era about l00 years ago. "Furusato" is sweet and beautiful nature and people for him, and also it is a memory of ill-treat people who had kicked his father out of his home temple. All eager desire for successful fame in his literary activity and a sadness in Meiji-era can be imagined by hundreds of his poem and his early days' diary.
