看護学生の実習目標到達度に関する考察
─基礎看護学実習IIの実施結果の調査から─

 本実習は,基礎看護学実習T,すなわち看護の対象としての人々や,看護活動の場を知ることを目的とした保健・医療・福祉施設の見学実習終了後に行った。

 実習目的は,対象者の理解と基本的ニーズの充足のための看護方法を学ぶことにある。従って,看護過程に沿って,対象者のアセスメント,ニーズの把握,援助方法の選択と実施,評価のプロセスを学ぶことを実体験した。
 実習後の調査で学生は,アセスメント,ニーズの把握の難しさを実感し,援助方法の選択と実施については,対象者の健康障害の理解不足から,適切な援助方法を考え,計画的に実施することが困難であった。しかし,本実習を通して,看護の意義とその重要性について深く認識することができ,今後の学習の動機づけとなっている。

On the Attainment of the Goals of Nursing Training
- From a Survey of the Implementation of the Curriculum of Basic Nursing II -

 The training session, Basic Nursing II, is carried out after completion of the course, Basic Nursing Training I which provides students with an opportunity to study the people who receive nursing care and gain experience in a nursing setting at health centers, medical clinics, and welfare facilities.
 The purpose of the traning session is to help the students to learn nursing methods which will enable them to better understand their clients and fulfill their basic needs. Through this nursing program, the trainees learn how to assess clients, grasp their needs, choose and then use a method to help them, and study the process of evaluation.
 The study following the training session showed how difficult it was for the students to assess and grasp the needs of clients. It was very difficult for the trainees to think of and choose ways to help, and then carry out the plan methodically, without a full understanding of the health status or disabilities of their clients.
 This training session, however, made it possible for the students to more deeply understand the significance of nursing and its importance. It served as strong motivation for their studies in the future.
