医師国家試験の合格率を高めるために
―入学者選抜・大学教育・総合卒業試験―

入学する学生の質を高め、教育の質を向上させることは、６年間でストレートに医師となる者の数を増やすとともに、人間性豊かな将来性のある医師を誕生させることになるが、世間では医師国家試験（以下国試と呼ぶ）の合格率を大学教育の１つの評価基準としているので、これを高めることにも無関心ではいられない。そこで、国試と密接な関係のある総合卒業試験（以下総合卒試と呼ぶ）の問の中から、識別性の高いものを選び、これらを用いて合否を予測する方法を昨年確率したが、これを97年に卒業した者のデータに適用したところ、総合卒試の問が全体として識別性能を高めていることが分かった。また、卒延者数と合格率の関係等を追究することによって、合格者数を増やす方法を考え、推薦選抜入学者と一般選抜入学者の比較等によって、学力試験の成績が高いレベルでそろった者の中から、どのような者を選抜すると国試合格率の上昇につながるか考察した。

To Elevate the Pass-rate
of National Exmination for Medical License(NE)
- Some Remarks on the Selection of Successful Applicants,
Education in Yamanashi Medical University
and the Comprehensive Graduation Test(CGT) -

The elevation of the quality of successful applicants and the improvement of the contents of education result in the increase of the number of medical students who are to go straight on to doctors in due course of six years and the birth of promising doctors full of human excellence. However, sa the pass-rate of NE is often considered as a landmark of the contents of medical education in the universities and colleges, we cannot disregard the elevation of the pass-rate of NE. Therefore, we established lst year the method of predictiong hte pass-rate of NE for any student, using particular questions selected from CGT which seem to serve as the decisive gactors to distinguish between the able students nad the unable one.In this essay, the author, applying this method to the data on the students who graduated in '87, found that the powers of discrimination of questions were on the whole much improved. We also, investigationg the relation between the number of the failures in graduation and the pass-rate of NE and so on, considered the way to increase the pass-rate of NE. Moreover, we compared the students admitted upon recommendations of high school with the non-recommended and so on, and studied the proper way to select successful applicants from promising intellectual abilities.
