過疎地域の子育て支援における保健婦の役割

　本研究の目的は過疎地域における子育ての現状を明らかにし，それにより子育て支援における保健婦の役割を追究することである。過疎地域の乳幼児と母１３組を対象とし，家庭訪問により子育ての現状を地域との関係の視点から調べた。その結果，母が地域のなかで孤立して子育てを行っている現状が明らかになった。また，保健婦の役割として，母と地域住民の双方へ地域住民が子育てのサポート源として位置づけられるように働きかけること，保育園入園前の母子への発達を促す遊びを援助することが考えられた。

The Role of Public Health Nurses in Supporting Child Rearing in a Depopulated District.

The purposes of this study were to identify the state of child rearing in a depopulated district and to clarify the role of public health nurses in supporting child rearing.
The subjects were 13 couples of mothers and children. The data were collected from interviews during visits to their homes.
The results were as follows :
1) As regarding child rearing practices,mothers and children kept their house and didn't seek useful connections with their neighbors.
2) Public health nurses need to have the mothers recognize their neighbors as the supporters of their child rearing.
3) It is necessary that public health nurses appeal to people in the community to give support to mothers.
