母性看護学実習記録に基づく問題解決能力達成度の分析

 看護過程は看護教育における重要な方法論であり,看護過程の学習・実践を通じて,問題解決能力が育成される。そこで,看護学生の問題解決能力の達成状況を明らかにすることを目的に,Y医科大学医学部看護学科一回生58名の母性看護学実習における看護過程記録の一段階であるアセスメント過程を分析し5点満点で評価をし,問題解決能力の達成度を明らかにした。また,看護診断数と問題解決能力との関係を検討した。
 その結果,褥婦に関するアセスメント過程の得点は4点以上の取得者は32名(55%),3点以上は54名(93%)であり,看護診断数の平均は4.1項目であった。新生児については,4点以上の得点者は29名(50%),3点以上が50名(87%)であり,看護診断数の平均は4.3項目であり,この結果は多くの学生がかなりに問題解決能力を達成したことを示している。また,看護診断数と得点との間には,褥婦については弱い相関(r=0.31)があり,新生児については中程度の相関(r=0.54)がみられた。

Analysis of the achievement degree of problem-solving
ability of students based on nursing records in
maternal nursing practice

 "Nursing process" is an important methodology in nursing education,and the problem-solving ability is developed through the study and practice of nursing process. This study was undertaken to clarify the achievement process and degree of problem-solving ability of nursing students. We analyzed the records of assessment process (a part of nursing process record) in maternal nursing practice of 58 students of School of Nursing, Y Medical University. Records were evaluated by 5 point full marks to clarify the achievement degree of problem-solving ability.Besides, relations between number of nursing diagnosis items and problem-solving ability were analytically considered. As a result,in the evaluation of assessment process on the puerperal, 32 (55%) students made a score larger than 4 point, and 54 (93%) students made a score larger than 3 point. Number of nursing diagnosis items on the puerperal was 4.1 as average.
 In the evaluation of assessment process on the newborn baby, 29 (50%) students obtained a score larger than 4 point, and 50 (87%) students obtained a score larger than 3 point. Number of nursing diagnosis items was 4.3 as average. These results indicate that most students have achieved the problem-solving ability to a considerable degree. A weak correlation (r=0.31) was observed between number of nursing diagnosis items and problem-solving ability in the assessment of the puerperal, and a moderate correlation (r=0.54) was confirmed in the assessment of the newborn baby.
