不登校生徒に関する調査

　児童・生徒の心の問題がクローズアップされており，養護教諭によせる期待が大きいことから，養護教諭の仕事の内容，不登校生徒の実態・対応などを明らかにすべく本研究を行った。
　Ｙ県内の公立中学校100校に勤務する養護教諭を対象として，自記式によるアンケート調査を郵送法にて行った。自宅送付のため住所不明11 名は除いた。
　回答が得られたのは39人（回収率43.8％）であった。以下に主な結果を示す。
　１）全校生徒数は450人以下が90％近くを占めている。
　２）保健室への来室状況は，１日平均10人以下が34％である。その理由としては，「内科的症状」が38％，「ただ話をするだけ」17 ％，「特に理由はない」15 ％である。
　３）不登校生徒の割合は1.28％であり，初期対応はほとんど担任が家庭訪問により行っている。不登校の理由は，「無気力」が21％，「身体の不調」18％，「不安」17％である。

The situation of nonattendance of junior-high students in Y prefecture - questionnaires to
school nurses.

Nowadays, psychological problems in students are increasing. To prevent these problems the role of nurse-teachers is increasing. A questionnaire survey was conducted to clarify the role of nurse-teachers and the situation of the students who do not attend school for over 30 days in Y prefecture.
89 questionnaires were distributed to the nurse-teachers, and 43.8% of them were collected. The results indicate:
1) The number of students: in a school: under 450 students in 90% of schools
2) The number of students who were visiting to the health room in a day: under 10 students in 34% of schools
3) The reasons of visiting the health room: a symptom peculiar to internal medicine (38%), merely to talk (17%), no reason (15%)
4) The proportion of truant students was 1.28%, and most of the cases were dealt with by a class teacher during a home visit
5) The reasons of nonattendance: apathy (21%), bad condition (18%), and anxiety (17%)
