入試改革・誤解との闘い
−山梨大学・山梨医科大学40年−

1969年に全国に先駆けて，入試集計用のプログラムを作成した著者は，その後30年以上にわたって，統計学とコンピュータ・ソフトウエア開発能力を駆使して，入試に関する追跡調査研究を行い，入試改革に取り組んできました。言うまでもなく，入学者選抜は大学のみならず，社会にとっても，国の将来にとっても極めて重要です。しかし，日本にはこれを専門として研究している人があまり多くいませんので，改革を進めるに当って，関係者にその理論を理解してもらい，誤解があるときは，それを解くために大変苦労しました。本論文では，山梨大学・山梨医科大学での40年間に著者の経験したことの一端を，私見を交えて述べてみました。

Struggle for the Reform of Entrance Examination against its Misunderstanding
- 40 Years at Yamanashi and Yamanashi Medical Universities -

At a time when very few universities were using computers to tabulate the results of entrance examination by making a program,the author,in 1969,designed that program for the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Education at Yamanashi University.Since then,for more than 30 years,the author has been wrestling with the reform of entrance examination,making its research and its follow-up survey,freely using statistics and his ability to develop various soft- wares.Needless to say,the selection of successful university applicants is extremely important not only for the university itself but for the general public and also for the future of Japan.However,there are so few scholars specializing in,and researching into,this field in Japan,that the author,in the process of reforming entrance examination, underwent all sorts of troubles to promote the participants'understanding of its theories and,if any misunderstanding arose,tried to remove it.In this paper the author reports,with his own view,some of his experience at above two universities where he served for 40 years.
