学習者用英和中辞典に於ける音声表記への一提案
−英音と米音の統一的表記を目指して−

　英米に於ける学習者用英語辞典の発展に伴い，本邦の学習者用英和中辞典も目覚ましい進歩を遂げてきた。本稿では，その学習者用英和中辞典における理想的音声表記について，特に英音と米音を統一的に表記するという観点から論じた。また，従来の分節音（単語の個々の音）の表記のみならず，プロソディー（句強勢，文強勢）についても，いわゆる成句，口語表現等を中心として表記する試みを提案する。

A Proposal for the Phonetic Transcription in the English-Japanese Dictionary
for Advanced Learners
―Toward a Unified Transcription of British and American English―

With the rapid development of monolingual advanced learners dictionaries of the English language, the English-Japanese dictionaries for advanced learners in Japan have also made great progress.　This paper tries to describe the ideal phonetic transcription for the English-Japanese dictionaries for advanced learners, particularly from the viewpoint of a unified transcription of British and American English.　A proposal for the prosodic transcription of compound/phrasal stress and sentence stress patterns as well as the segmental transcription is also suggested.
