自己採点方式の確率論的考察

７年前に、国立大学の入学者選抜のあり方の改善をめざして、共通第１次学力試験制度が発足した。これに村して、発足当初からさまざまな問題点が指摘され、各分野の専門家を中心に検討が続けられ、62年度から改正が加えられることになったが、問題解決の決め手となる妙案はいまだ見いだされていない。
著者は本字の１期生（昭和55年度入学）が最初の１年間を学び終えた直後、そのデータを分析する中で、さまざまな問題を生む原因の主要な１つが、自己採点方式であることに偶然気付いた。ここでは、その原因発見の緒（いとぐち）、および、「まぐれ」が起こる確率に自己採点方式か否かでいかに大きな違いがあるかを示し、共通第１次学力試験制度を存続させ、且つ当初の目標の１つ（一発勝負を避ける。）を達成させるため、自己採点方式の廃止を提唱する。

A stochastic consideration of the self-estimation system

Seven years ago, the system of the joint first-stage achievement test was newly introduced in order to improve the status quo of the entrance examination for the national university candidates. From the outset, naturally, various problems have been pointed out, discussed by the experts of various fields concerned, and it was decided to make some necessary amendments from the academic year 1987. Decisive means, however, to solve the problem definitely, has not been found out yet.
The author, in process of the analysis on the data of the 1st year achievement of the pioneer students (entered in 1980) of our newly founded university, noticed quite incidentally that one of the main causes to get into various troubles consists in the so-called self-estimation system.
This article, accordingly, reports the process how the clue was found, demonstrates the extent how much the self-estimation system badly affects the probable occurence of fluke, and finally proposes the abolition of this self-estimation system, in order to continue the present system of the joint first-stage achievement test, and, to achieve one of the original objectives : to avoid the so-called a single shot match.
