入院から外来退院後における統合失調症者の病気と
服薬に対する認識の変化

　統合失調症者が自らの病気の体験や服薬治療をどのように受けとめているのかを入院から外来退院まで追って分析し，病いからの回復を支える援助について考察した。対象は，精神科急性期病棟入院中に服薬心理教育に参加した統合失調症患者11名であり，入院時（服薬心理教育参加前・参加後）および外来退院時に病識尺度と服薬治療の認識を質問項目とした半構成的面接を行った。その結果，自己理解につとめる姿勢や自分なりに周囲の人々と関係をつくっていき社会とのつながりを築いていこうとする意思をもち，試行錯誤しながらも少しずつさらなる回復段階へ向かっていることが明らかになった。看護者は，病者の内にある良くなろうとする意思に気づき，それらを真摯に受けとめ支えていくことが重要であると考えられた。

Changes in Attitudes of Schizophrenic Patients towards the Illness
and Antipsychotic Medication after Hospital Discharge

　The purpose of this study was to analyze schizophrenic patients・attitudes toward their illness and their antipsychotic medication treatment from hospital admission to discharge as well as to describe the therapeutic nursing care for the recovery psychotic illnesses.
　Semi-structured inter views with questionnaires about insights into the illness and awareness of antipsychotic medication were conducted with 11 schizophrenic patients before and after the psychoeducation program upon their admission to an acute care unit, and at discharge.
　Results suggested that the patients had the will to recognize themselves and also that they made efforts to be part of their community. In addition, they gradually attempted to recover through a process of trial and error. It is important that mental health professionals focus on the will of individuals with psychotic illnesses and support their process of recovery.
