手術室看護師の道徳的感性と自律性の特徴

 本研究の目的は手術室看護師の道徳的感性と自律性の特徴を明らかにすることである。道徳的感性と自律性を測定するために,MST (Moral Sensitivity Test) と DPBS (Dempster Practice Behaviors Scale) 計 64 項目を用いた。対象は 400 床以上の総合病院4施設の手術室看護師 50 名とし,対照は外科病棟看護師 55 名である。さらに,両群をともに経験年数により短期群 (経験年数 3 年未満),長期群 (経験年数 3 年以上 10 年以下) に分類し 4 群間で比較した。その結果,手術室看護師は,病棟看護師より患者の生命の安全を守ることに看護の意義を見出す傾向が強かった。手術室看護師は,患者とともにいることを大切に思い,患者のニーズや反応を感じとろうとする認識は病棟看護師より低かった。手術室看護師の特徴は,専門的知識や技術の習得が自律性と関係していた。

Characteristics of Moral Sensitivity and Autonomy in Operating Room Nurses

  The purpose of this study is to clarify the characteristics of the moral sensitivity and autonomy of operating room nurses. The subjects in this study were 50 operating room nurses and 55 medical-surgical nurses working in four general hospitals (over 400 beds). The subjects in this study were classified according to years of experience (The least experienced, those with three years experience, much-group: more than three years) into four groups. These measured nurse's moral sensitivity by the Moral Sensitivity Test (MST) and the nurse autonomy by the Dempster Practice Behaviors Scale (DPBS). The scores of the MST and DPBS were analyzed by the Mann-Whitney U-test. The results of the four groups characteristics were as follows: Operating room nurses recognized that the purpose of caring for patients is to save their lives. It is significant for a medical-surgical nurse to recognize and understand the minds of patients through communication. It is characterized that operating room nurse's autonomy has effected on their acquisition of professional knowledge and techniques.
